Our busy gastroenterology private practice in Moline, IL is seeking a full time qualified nurse practitioner  to join our team at   Quad City Gastroenterology (QCG). QCG is the largest single specialty gastroenterology practice in both the Iowa and Illinois Quad Cities and we are proud to be one of the most trusted resources for the treatment of GI diseases and disorders, bringing more than 100 years of combined experience and service to the Quad Cities and surrounding areas. Our staff of all Board Certified and Fellowship trained Gastroenterologists, along with our Board-certified Nurse Practitioners, allow us to deliver the highest level of proactive, personalized GI care to our patients. Clinic Hours: M-F, 8AM - 5PM Responsibilities Treat digestive diseases through comprehensive history taking, physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.   Obtain medical histories and conduct physical examinations.   Maintain accurate documentation in the patients’ medical records.   Document symptom assessment; communicate with collaborating physician(s).   Initiate requests for commonly performed laboratory studies and diagnostic tests.   Prescribe medications for acute and chronic illnesses to the extent authorized by state regulations.   Counsel and educate patients on health behaviors, self-care skills, and treatment options.   Qualifications Active  APRN, NP  license in Illinois & Iowa (or willingness to obtain)   Active DEA License   Experience in gastroenterology preferred   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills    Benefits Health, Dental and Vision insurance   401k   Paid time off   CME (5 Days, $2000)   Malpractice Covered Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant's or employee's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
